| Nickelodeon's Banned Horror Film "Cry Baby Lane" To Air Halloween Night! Oct 27th 2011, 20:01
Back on October 20, 2000, Nickelodeon premiered its original horror film called “Cry Baby Lane.” Apparently, the film was so scary/disturbing that many parents complained and Nickelodeon chose to pull the film, never showing it again.
For years, “Cry Baby Lane” became a myth and was thought to be lost forever. That is… until just this August when a Reddit user found a copy of the film on an old VHS tape and uploaded it to the internet. While Viacom has pulled all copies of the film down (still possible to find on the internet), fans had a short glimpse at the awesome, creepy film and the film’s director, Peter Lauer, was flattered by the newfound popularity of the film after so many years.
Now, with TeenNick’s “The ’90s Are All That” giving ’90s Nick a resurgence, Nickelodeon has announced that it will air the original “Cry Baby Lane” on Halloween night – marking the second time it has ever been shown on TV!
Do you plan on watching “Cry Baby Lane” on Halloween night? From what we’ve seen and heard, it will definitely make for a chilling experience.

The thing was really no worse than your average episode of Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark?, so I'm baffled as to why it was 'banned' in the first place, but at least they're acknowledging it exists and reairing it.
