After a 15 year absence, Beavis and Butt-head return to the couch on MTV tonight at 10/9c p.m. Along with two new stories in each episode, the boys will be doing their regular riffing on not just music videos, but reality shows like "Jersey Shore" and "16 and Pregnant"! Beavis and Butt-head were always obsessed with MTV. They would make fun of the music videos it aired. MTV today seldom plays music videos, so it was necessary to update what Beavis and Butt-head would be watching and mocking.
Tonight, Beavis and Butt-head take on "Twilight" by deciding to become vampires and werewolves since chicks are oddly digging that sort of thing. They find a random homeless guy (not Anthony Ciccone) to bite them after thinking that his appearance is due to being a real live werewolf. Little do they know that the guy has Hepatitis C. Let the transformation begin!
MTV has been slowly preparing warning America about the show's return, much like the Mayans warned about the impeding doom of 2012.
The network has been focusing on online viral marketing in promoting the new season.
Beavis and Butt-head interviewed Snooki on "Jimmy Kimmel" last week, after they commented that Kimmel was doing such a piss poor job. Beavis and Butt-head drop in on Jersey Shore numerous times this season, talking to the housemates on the phone, directing them what to do.
Daria fans, Mike Judge spilled the beans -- Daria is making a cameo this season!!!
MTV has just announced that new episodes will instantly be made available on iTunes following each week's new episode.
Beavis and Butt-head grace the cover of Vice Magazine, which features a huge interview with Mike Judge. The article can be read HERE, buttmunch! Oh, and Beavis can say "fire" now!
