Dumb and Dumber sequel on the way with the original cast! Oct 26th 2011, 23:47 It's been seventeen years Dumb and Dumber was released (Yes, you are old! You're so old, just incredibly old, stop being so old), but a few months ago, Jim Carrey began floating the notion that he might be down for a super-belated sequel. Now, it looks like Dumb and Dumber 2 is becoming a reality: Deadline reports that writers have been hired to script the film, and Peter and Bobby Farrelly (who directed the original) hope to segue to it after finishing up work on The Three Stooges.
