Denim, denim…how do I love thee? Let me count the ways!
I am fortunate enough to have the kind of job where I can and do wear jeans almost every day. I am a real jeans girl, but there's no way to keep up with the thousands of pairs out there.
People StyleWatch has done the homework for us though, hand-picking the best jeans of 2011. The magazine's Fashion Director Kate Dimmock tells us the editors sorted through more than 700 pairs before whittling things down to the top choices in 25 categories.
Here are some of the winners of the mag's First Annual Denim Awards.
Celeb Fave Brand: J Brand
"These are the hottest line of denim worn by Cameron Diaz (pictured), Heidi Klum, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie and too many celebrities to count," says Kate Dimmock. "What we love about J Brand is that whatever the style—skinny or flared or trousers—the jeans have a wonderful fit and have that unmistakable 'it' factor. They look cool out on the town or even at work."

"These jeans have a stretchy fabric that lifts your butt and built-in technology holds in your tummy," says Dimmock. "With a slightly flared leg, this will add some length too, making you appear taller."
Best Under $100
DKNY Jeans "Avenue B Skinny Moto Jeans" for $79
"This jean has a bold stitching with a motocross detail, which is a fun trend. They are rugged, yet stylish in a dark wash, and they look more expensive than they are!"
Best Plus Size
NYDJ "Janice Legging" for $98
"This cotton-spandex legging jean accommodates curves while smoothing the tummy and butt."
